Righteousness vs. Unrighteousness Part 5

August 28, 2009
Since the war between righteousness and unrighteousness began in the fall of man and manifested in the first two sons of Adam and Eve which ended in the murder of Abel it has continued to this present time. This will continue to be for all future generations who will be waiting for the knowledge of God to dominate every area of life.

Adam and Eve had sons that demonstrated both tendencies of righteousness and unrighteousness. Their legacy of war between the righteous and unrighteous continued after they died, up until our present generation and so shall it be for future generations. Which one will win in your life?

From the very beginning, God established the basis for our relationship with Him. Righteousness can only be produced from making God the only source of what is right in our knowledge of life and the world. It is easy for any believer, without the knowledge or acceptance of God's ways, to blame God for all the evil that happens in the world just as easy as an unbeliever would. How can this be?

One of the most outstanding characteristics of God is righteousness and it is upon His revealed truth and character that we are to act in judging any type of moral behavior. Cain, due to his sinful nature, developed unrighteous behavior. Through his evil action it reveals to us that the source of unrighteousness comes from the evil one. Who are you obeying?

Genesis reveals to us the fall of man and how through that action Adam and Eve became unrighteous and were exposed to God's way and Satan's way. If we have inherited their fallen nature, who can be righteous? Does the fact that all fail at some point make us ineligible to judge anyone? In our modern world, who determines what is right and what is wrong? Do Biblical standards apply even in people's lives who don't believe in the Bible?

What is a worldview? A worldview is a person’s set of beliefs that will determine how he or she is going to act. Every individual has a worldview because everyone has thoughts; every day he makes decisions and takes action. Every person makes an assumption of how life began, and what is the purpose for life. Time and history are on the side of those who follow God's plan. In times of great moral, political, economical, emotional, religious and ecological deterioration and confusion, it is an opportunity for God's truth to confront the falsehood about the true meaning and purpose of life.

How do you conceive heaven? How do you envision the social order in heaven? Since everything flows from God there is perfect unity and harmony. The conflict of worldviews only takes place here on earth. Cain want to worship God on his own terms and God rejected his offering. How could a loving God reject an offering that came from the hard work and sweat invested by Cain? Was it less valuable than the animal sacrifice offered by Abel? God has his high standards very well placed and He will not alter then for anything or anyone. Our heavenly Father truly knows best.

Surveys say that only 1% of adults have a biblical worldview. Is it any wonder that we are losing the young people to the humanist/atheist mindset. The church is supposed to be the facilitator and equip the families with the proper tools of learning God's perspective in all areas of life. Our children are exposed to hours every day to an aggressive bombardment of humanist ideas. They are easy prey to be devoured voraciously by the enemy of God.

How can we understand God if we don't understand His plan? In the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ we see how the curse of sin was brought upon Him. At the same time we witness God's grace, justice and mercy. Christ had to experience the curse that the first Adam brought upon the human race. From Jesus’ death at the cross also flows the source of life, law, order, and power, all because of God's special grace. This is God's provision so we too can live out our lives in glorious victory for our God

The fact that Adam and Eve decided to disobey God's command does not mean God was caught by surprise. Nor does it mean that Satan defeated God's purpose and spoiled His original plan. Anyone who thinks that Satan was cleverer does not know God's true nature.
August 17, 2009
Did God really lose control of the world to Satan? The majority of Christians truly believe that God turned over to Satan the affairs of the world. Where did they get that idea? By misinterpreting what Satan told Jesus at the time of His temptation. Is being ruler by influence the same as being the owner?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
