It is not enough to dream you wish you could change things all around you and change the world.   As believers in Christ, we have been given the most powerful resource any human can ever dream of having. Human Exceptionalism can only be understood and found by comprehending that we are created beings in the image and likeness of God and we not masters of all we are and what we do. We have a divine mission to make a difference in this world.

Hedonism is nothing new.  It has been in every civilization since the beginning of time.  It is the doctrine that moral value can be defined in terms of pleasure and the pursuit of pleasure is the highest good.  Over indulgence in sensual pleasures is its goal.  There can be no doubt that we are living in the "me" generation.  Self-indulgence is extreme selfishness.  God deals severely with this severely.  Pray for repentance in America.

America rose to power in a very short time compared to other great nations and empires in history.  But all the symptoms indicate that it is also collapsing at a very rapid pace.  The  37 indicators of a civilization headed for a fall that we have been analyzing in this series clearly reveal that America is in grave danger, and that if it does not correct its course, it will not be the exemption.  May God help us to save America!

An indicator of a civilization headed for a fall is when rebelliousness and alienation of youth from older generations is widespread. Why is it that this rebelliousness is expected in every generation?  Why is it that human  behavior repeats itself?  Children learn by example and when the examples available to them are less than desirable children can see right through that and they rebel and begin to make their own way in life many times making wrong choices, however, this does not exempt them from the responsibility of learning who they were created to be.

What is the real world we are living in?  When a civilization is headed for a fall people become passive, rather than active, interested in games, recreation, reading, entertainment and illusion, rather than the real world.  History is there screaming at us to stop and turn around and get back on track if we don't want to end up in total ruin.  We no longer have the original spirit that birthed this nation.  Can we get it back?

How can America survive if her faith in God is waning? Humans are made to have and exercise faith.  If the faith of Americans in God is declining, where is their faith going?  People in America have created rival gods to the God of the Bible.  Regardless, God is not subject to what people believe or think about Him.  He is God and always will be.

The decline of religious faith in a nation has devastating consequences.  The nation loses it cohesion and a flood of ideas take its place.  Religion binds people together.  The spiritual side of a nation reminds all human beings that we are created by God and must render to Him the love, respect and worship that is due Him and to be able to understand our reason for being created in the first place.

One of the 37 indicators of a civilization headed for a fall is that government fails to unify the conflicting interests of the nation. The questions is, how can the civil government unify society when their worldview is so fragmented? We have never seen America so divided as she is at present.  There are so many facets pulling in so many directions, how much more can America take before she breaks under the pressure?

What happens when a government no longer cares about the rights of its citizens?  Things get out of control  The more capable members of society reject military service. Basic industries become controlled by foreign money. More people depend upon government for income then paid taxes. It is just a matter of time that the ruin of a nation is eminent.

One of the 37 indicators of a civilization headed for a fall is that the country is flooded with aliens who have neither identity nor understanding of the language, culture or history of the nation.  This sounds only too familiar, doesn't it?   What will America look and feel like when whose who were minorities now become the majority?

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.

About Nena Arias

Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
