It's All About Our Choices, Part 3

August 13, 2014
The reason God expects us to learn from history can be summed up like this: human nature is the one making history; their emotions and desires do not change. New discoveries in science and new technology do not change human morality. How we use it is subject to that morality good or bad.

Six thousand years of recorded history, more than anything else, has to do with human rebellion against God’s commission and the choices to follow man’s instincts on doing things rather than doing it God’s way.

The choices we make have consequences, good or bad. Humans do not enjoy the fruit of bad choices. Ignorance does not exempt us from the sting of bad choices. How many times do we make choices thinking  it’s the right thing to do? There are millions of books on any given subject, they all have world-views but how do we know if they provide the right perspective?

America's foundation is freedom, virtue and faith – if this foundation is removed American society collapses. So how are we to interpret the actions of those who are deliberately attempting to make America godless? The "Jeffersonian 'wall of separation between church and state'" is not in the U.S. Constitution at all! In fact, it was written in a letter by Jefferson over ten years after the First Amendment was ratified. James Madison said, "Liberty may be endangered by the abuses of liberty as well as the abuses of power."

Ephesians 2:19, "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God," Every true believer has a heavenly citizenship in God's realm and that is a great responsibility to carry out here on earth. Fortunately we have a perfect example in Jesus to follow. No hit and miss there!

As born-again Christians our citizenship is in heaven.  How does that relate to our daily life here on earth and everything we do? How does this help in solving all the worldly crises we now face? If people are so busy, why should we bother with a heavenly citizenship?
August 6, 2014
Everyone is born in a country that gives them a citizenship, a right to belong with rights, privileges and benefits that come with that citizenship. Most people are very proud of their sense of nationality. But there is a citizenship that is far greater and a higher calling with benefits and rewards not only here on earth but also throughout eternity.
August 5, 2014
Every human being is a citizen of a nation by birth or naturalization this makes him or her distinct from a foreigner. Believe it or not, most people do not understand that a citizenship comes with rights, privileges and responsibilities. Most people focus on the first two: rights and privileges but ignore or reject the responsibility part.

Mrs. Pelosi wants us to believe baby Jesus was a refugee in Egypt, and Pharaoh’s family helped baby Moses and that is the basis to accept the illegal immigrants, which are now overwhelming the U.S. southern border. She is the same person that condemns politicians who are pro-life for using the Bible because for her it is okay to kill babies from conception even though science, morality and biblical law are against her judgment. Now she plays her Bible knowledge card to justify breaking of the law.  How convenient.
August 1, 2014
Nancy Pelosi, in a feeble attempt to justify her stance on illegal immigration, quoted the instance of Jesus and his family having to flee to Egypt to protect his life. Joseph received a specific dream-revelation to leave Bethlehem with his family. What Pelosi and others fail to understand is that there was no need to violate border-crossing laws, Egypt was under the Roman Empire dominance, and people were free to go in and out throughout the empire. Her application of the Bible account in this matter, needless to say, does not apply.

Have you noticed that liberal Democrats conveniently use the Bible when they want to get a point across but totally and aggressively come against it when others use the Bible to their destructive and evil liberal agenda? We recently saw a classic example when Nancy Pelosi heard something from the conference of Catholic Bishops that, according to them, can conveniently be applied to justify the flood of illegals that are coming to our southern border. The twisted theology of Nancy Pelosi has "good company" in the Catholic Bishops.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
