When the nation of Israel got in trouble they did not believe great destruction was coming against them because they took it for granted that God was with them. Their reaction to the message instead of being one of repentance and seeking God for forgiveness and asking for another opportunity to change their evil ways they declared that God's ways were not what they had in mind and they were going to follow their own plan. They decided to rely on their own abilities, wisdom and strength. They were so confident that they could work themselves out of any difficult situation. Does that sound familiar?

Does the Bible have answers for the overwhelming problems the nation and the world face? Yes. Absolutely. In spite of the deterioration of culture and values we are witnessing all around us, if we would act decisively and biblically we can overcome the obstacles to justice, peace and harmony. The Bible is the only document that tells us what to do, when, where, how, and why. We are either ruled by God's laws or by ungodly laws. We reflect God's culture or humanistic and satanic culture. Those are still the only choices.

Either we follow God’s plan of salvation in Christ Jesus or we follow Satan’s culture of deception and destruction. There are no other choices, don't let anybody fool you, there is NO NEUTRALITY! God is a God of covenant and the Bible makes it very clear how He will not make concessions with His covenant. From the very beginning of creation God gave, His covenant in order for His people to understand what was expected of them and in return, what they could expect of Him.

If we analyze the changes that came about in the 60's; schools strongly began to teach that we are the descendents of animals. The most logical conclusion was, “then let us behave like animals.” Their logical reasoning was that there can be no standards for living except those that we create as we move along in our evolving life. When people began to embrace Darwin's ideas then everything began to go downhill for America and the world. So the byword was lets us have chaos! Is this the kind of change we want to continue in America?

It seems like the spirit of “change” is upon us once again. The word change is being chanted all over the nation. “We must change the course of the nation” is a proclamation from politicians, the media, academia, the world of entertainment and even a lot of churches. However, the change they are proclaiming is not necessarily a change for the betterment of society and the world, it is a change for the worse and if those who push for that kind of change succeed, we will see the beginning of social anarchy.

Christ saved us from the stronghold of Satan's culture and brought us into this marvelous knowledge in Christ Jesus by the forgiveness of our sins and the renewal of our spirit to make us new creatures. That does not mean that we have not made mistakes, even severe mistakes. Even so, He provides a way that we can get out of the trap that we willingly fell into and continue to live the new life in obedience to God's principles. As God's people, we have a higher standard to live by as we reflect God's character so others can see and read in us the value of walking in close relationship with God.

I don’t know if you agree with me or not, but the way I see it; we have a great need for true wisdom. A quick look at the moral landscape of the nation is sufficient evidence to let us know that society as a whole is not making wise decisions for the present much less for the future. Everywhere you look, the lack of true wisdom is more than obvious. We have put too much emphasis on only getting an academic education because we have come to believe that knowledge is power, but the question is, what kind of knowledge?

As we get closer to Election Day the smear campaign is in full swing. Character assassination seems to be more important than substance on the issues. It is one thing for bloggers without any regard for decency to blast the candidates they disagreed with, but it’s another thing for the candidates themselves to throw cheap shots at their opponents. Elections come and go but pliticians like Sarah Palin are a far more fundamental threat to the Democratic Party and those who oppose God. She is the kind of public servants we desperately need.

Most likely, you have heard the phrase that we cannot legislate morality. The motive behind that statement is to silence the Christians who oppose immoral behavior. Those who hate biblical principles scream at the top of their lungs that we should not impose our morality on others. Does that mean that politics are immune from immorality? Does it mean that when we vote we must bypass the terrible effects of immorality and simply trust the laws passed by the executive powers, Congress, the Supreme Court, and other state laws? Can Christians separate their conscience from their vote in every day life? Even though many Christians do so, it is a reproach to the moral character of God.

This Thursday, September 11, 2008; is the seven year marker that changed life in America as we knew it. The terrorists’ attack will forever be remembered as a date that will remind Americans of their potential enemies and the lengths they are willing to go to hurt us. We are fighting two wars, which makes going through the airport checks a very vivid reminder of those wars. What does 9/11 mean to you now? For the people who lost a spouse or a child or a parent or a friend, September 11 is very much a part of their lives every single day in a tragic way. Exactly how much has the nation changed since Sept. 11, 2001, that depends on who has been the most affected by that tragic event.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
