Do You Recognize Evil in All of its Manifestations? Part 5

July 26, 2013
"In my view, the Christian religion; is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed... No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people." - Noah Webster

Moral evil is any deviation of a moral agent from the rules of conduct prescribed by God, or by legitimate human authority; it is any violation of the plain principles of justice and rectitude. There are also evils called civil, which affect injuriously the peace or prosperity of a city or state; and political evils, which injure a nation, in its public capacity.  Evil is far reaching and we must be prepared to recognize it in all its forms.

The way tragic events are faced and handled are alarming because things never go back to the way they were.  Evil has always been the same and produces the same fruit.  The Prophet Isaiah says,"woe to them who call evil good, and good evil..."  It seems the world over is calling things that were good for millennia all of a sudden are now evil.  We must tread carefully in our generation because when God's warnings are not heeded the consequences are sure to follow.

Why is it that when tragedy strikes, as the one in Boston or the 9/11 World Trade Center attack in 2001, the word evil comes to the minds of people? And the mass murders we have witnessed are only blamed on mentally ill people and weapons, but, for the most part, not recognized as evil actions? What is wrong with that picture and when are people going to connect the dots?

Things do not happen just because. Ideas have consequences because they all have a source of inspiration.  We are being inundated with conflicting messages from all sides.  How do we filter them all to arrive at truth?  God teaches us the right way to live and it is corroborated through history.  We must learn from the history of nations who have received sanctions for their evil ways.

As we consider the tremendous task that we have before us as we have seen in this series, let us not cease to pray and work toward a Biblical Reformation to see God's Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.  Only honoring God's Word and will is what will bring about the unity that the body of Christ needs for Jesus to be proud to dwell among us.

The Apostles mentioned the Scriptures in their writings as the only way to understand the Godhead, God’s will and our relation and purpose to them and our commission while we live in this world. The prime example of fulfilling God's Word to the fullest was Jesus.  Our mission is to emulate Him in everything.  Titles, tags and church memberships are useless without the honor of Scripture.

Jesus left no doubt about the importance of God’s Word, The Scriptures. He centered everything in the Scriptures, He never called them the Old Testament as we do, that is a term that has been misused. When God's Word is not honored in our congregations everything else that passes as "God's work" is useless. Would Jesus feel  comfortable in our midst?

Jesus definitely fiercely confronted the falsehood in the religious circle of His time.  He did not conform to the heresies of "his denomination" and he suffered for it rather than compromise the truth of God for the traditions of men and doctrines of demons.  Can you call "brothers and sisters" in the faith those who distort and betray the Word of God?  What does the spirit of truth have in common with the spirit of deceit?

What criteria did Jesus use to indict Israel from being a chosen people of God to people of Satan? From Adam and Eve until now it has always been about obedience or disobedience to the Word of God. Upon this fact is why people and nations rise or fall. Jesus’ confrontation in the desert was not because He was an Israelite or a Jew (his denomination) but that He was the Son of God.  Being a true child of God is what really matters not what denomination you belong to.
July 15, 2013
As a believer, have you ever been asked what denomination you belong to?  People do that so they can tag you with the profile of those beliefs.  How biblical can it be if denominations fraction God's Word. Are Christian denominations a testimony of unity or division? God's kind of unity is in thought and action. Jesus made it very clear what UNITY with God is.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
