We are called to work with God’s plan and His will and to do it without grumbling. Grumbling is a clear sign of discontent with God’s plan and His will. We act like if we knew better then Him on how to do things more efficiently. Father does know best.

A believer in Christ has the highest calling in this life. To be chosen by God sets us apart from others. God chooses a person to make the difference to eradicate the culture of corruption, immorality and death. We have been given all we need to accomplish this call. The difference between a churchgoer and a true disciple of Christ is huge. When you truly understand your unique mission there will be no room for grumbling.

How do we know God's voice? Where do ideas come from? Strange voices can come in the most common circumstances and sound so convincing and we can be led astray into horrible situations and suffer great pain and loss if we are not tuned into the right voice. The worst loss is distancing ourselves from God which is sure destruction.

Politicians, preachers, theologians, economist, singers, movie stars, scientist, professors, parents, brothers, sisters, other family members, friends? How about me? Where is the truth? The reason the United States of America became such a different nation in the history of the world was the arrival of the children of the Reformation that came to this land with a vision of carrying on with what they were not allowed to do in Europe. That is, until in the mid 19th century another wave of Europeans with the opposite worldview, which was destroying the old continent, came to implement those failing philosophies here in America. All political parties are dominated by a diversity of the humanistic philosophical worldview, and religion. Every election is a referendum on the people of this nation –who are they going to follow in obedience, man or the God of the Bible? The Forefathers and Founding Fathers’ vision and culture of a godly nation is collapsing all around us. We can no longer continue to deny how great the influence of evil is over this land and the rest of the world. It’s time for every believer to make wise choices under the guidance of God’s Word.

The election cycle is a social challenge especially when we see the outcome. There are millions who could care less who gets elected or even that there are any elections. This group of people naively thinks they are apolitical not realizing there is no such thing as neutrality. There is another group who fights furiously for their political views to be the ones to carry the day. Then there is the uneducated group who vote without understanding what they are doing even though they think they do. One thing is undeniable—elections have consequences.

Every election indicates to us the true condition of the nation and where it is headed. One thing if for sure, you cannot construct stability out of instability. We must select individuals to public service who are able to properly handle the myriad of issues: The Relationship of Money To Power, Tax Policies, Health and Welfare, Civil rights, morality, Crime and Punishment, Protection of the Environment, The Economy, Foreign Policy / Security, war, and many more issues that plague the social landscape.

As we remember the events of 9/11 from 2001, we must reflect on how our lives were changed. We saw tremendous conviction and commitment to a system of beliefs that 19 men were willing to die for. So we must pose the question: what are we willing to die for? I don't know about you, but, I am willing to die for what I believe, God, country, and family. No man has a greater love than he who lays down his life for others.
