Beware of Whom You Call Father, Part 2

March 5, 2014
Why is it of vital importance of whom we get our knowledge?  Read this quote carefully, “Knowledge will forever govern ignorance: And a people who mean to be their own Governors, must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.” –James Madison, letter to W.T. Barry, 1822. This is why Jesus reaffirmed the effects of the knowledge of God.  “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

What exactly did Jesus mean when he said, "“…call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called instructors (teacher, leader), for you have one instructor (teacher, leader), the Christ” ? Matthew 23:9-10.

The original culture of America is unique. In 1620 the Pilgrims came not to establish a religion but The Kingdom of God and His culture. Man will never be able to come up with a true alternative to God's established order regardless of how sophisticated they might think they are.  God’s people must understand this reality and be part of the solutions to a confused and agonizing United States of America and the world.

God has been revealing through Scriptures and through history that He has not changed His plan for redeeming the human race and manifesting why He is God.  Humans change their loyalties very swiftly when there is an apparent gain for them. But God never changes.  What earthly culture would Jesus embrace?  He said it very clearly, "my kingdom is not of this world.`' He would never settle for anything less than what He knows to be true culture and neither should we.

Ideas have consequences.  It is a fact; a culture of corruption kills a nation. In every language, nationality, religious belief, ideological belief and faith they all have a definition for corruption and none of it is good. In all languages and cultures corruption is detested and fought against.  The question is: is there a perfect culture that humans can embrace that makes sense? Is there anything in all of history that can give us indications that it is possible to achieve such a culture? The answer is YES!

James 4:17 says, "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin." The master rewards the faithful and sends the rebellious ones to eternal punishment. In the parable of the talents of Matthew 25, by not producing the expected fruit, the slothful servant robbed the Master.  He could have done the minimal but instead he hid the talent.  So it is with us, we must acknowledge God’s investment in us and be productive.

We continue to analyze the parable of the talents in Matthew 25; like so many other incompetent, slothful people in history, the servant in the parable that received one talent tries to justify his poor performance by blaming the master. He accuses the master of being a thief, or at least an unscrupulous exploiter.  Too often God wrongfully gets blamed for the poor outcome in people's lives?

History has so much to reveal about the willful incompetence of God’s people due to their apathy or laziness. These kinds of believers always find ways to justified their pathetic performance in relation to the Government and Kingdom of God. Biblical Christians of the 21st century carry the biggest responsibility for the future of this nation and the world.

You would think that by now with over six thousand years of history humans would have learned their lessons. But no, humans are obsessed in reviving destructive ideas. The only thing more painful than learning from experience is not learning from experience. In other words, life is much easier on us when we learn from our experiences and avoid making the same mistakes.

God judges what we give by what we keep. Due to God’s investment in our lives we are expected to make contributions to better the lives of others. It makes perfect sense because in Christ our lives greatly improve and we should do everything so others can have the same quality of life.

We can only glorify God and Jesus when we produce the ethical fruit of their character. Let us be reminded that we are saved to manifest God’s knowledge, wisdom authority and power.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
