Be Perfect! Part 20

July 6, 2016
The more we move away from God's principles for living the more the lines get blurred and that makes it easier to cross crucial lines of morality and ethics. From God's view, no one is above the law and will reap the consequences.

The human race is in the midst of life's battle to figure what it's all about. But God has already provided all we need to know and we do not need to reinvent the wheel of life.  He also gives us the opportunity to be chosen for His very special purpose.  However, being chosen by God means we must meet the conditions of being His people: obey His voice and keep His covenant.

The American history revisionists have removed the backbone of the principles that made America the greatest nation in all of human history, but now leaves much to be desired unless we get back to what the Declaration of Independence affirms, which is the absolute dependence on The Creator and Supreme Judge of the world and the only one that guarantees rights.

We like perfection and are constantly looking for ideas that will work in everything we do, only to find out that many of those ideas don't work and we don't arrive at the desired results. However, we do have a blueprint for life from God, but most do not like the discipline it requires to put it into practice. Our human nature fights against God and rejects His moral law. We should be aware that to hate God's moral law is to hate God.

Without God's understanding of life things are not going to get better in the world. As long as imperfection is embraced the chaos will continue and even increase. Clearly Christians have the answer from God's Word to make the difference. Those who belong to Christ and know the grace of God and have a desire not only to know His law but also to love and keep it.

People are greatly alarmed with all that is happening in the world and especially in this country. Is all this new? No it is not, but we should not despair. There have been sparks in history where brave people have stepped up to the plate and made the difference to turn the tide. Reality is that it does matter how people chose to live, and when immorality rises to levels of no return, God has to intervene and reset society.

God’s plan of bringing humanity back to the original intent as one family has always been in place. Every human is a child of God by creation and descendants of Adam who divided the race between the obedient and disobedient. There is a contrast between those whose identity is in the values of the sinful order and of those who by their faith and actions know they are to transform, not only their lives but also culture and nature (Rom 8:18–27). The seed of Abraham is Christ; He is one and the uniting factor of one people known as the family of God.

When things go wrong in a society or in any given situation a question that is always asked is "who is to blame?" Rarely is the blame accepted by the true culprits. Things cannot be expected to have a good outcome if we do not fight against imperfection; the convulsions will continue unless the right principles are put into place.

It is evident that the left leaning higher education for the last decades has bankrupted the souls and minds of our young people. Education in America, for the most part, has not cultivated critical thinking so the mind of our graduates has been atrophied and individuals do not act on what is right. Things in this aspect are only getting worse, and to think that these graduates are now in power is of great concern. What can be done to save ourselves?

For thousands of years, humans have been endeavoring to define what is right or what is wrong, what is good and what is evil. Then they establish laws and values in a society only to see them changed by others that come along after them. It is obvious, humans need a guide to arrive at greater accuracy on what makes life work. If only they would look toward God who is the most accurate on this knowledge and who is in control. God's requisites for right living and perfection never change and can be totally trusted for all time. His track record is proven over and over again, so why do people continue to fight Him?

We all love and expect perfection in every thing we buy, in our food, what we drive and so on, so what makes us think that God will not expect it of us when He is perfect in all He says and does? If we expect to have a right relationship with God we are not exempt from working toward that perfection. God is full of love, mercy and grace, however, His moral character puts limits on human depravity and will not abide it, which is why He says "be perfect". That is not a suggestion, it is a command.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
