Another Change of Administration Part 4

January 31, 2017

If there is something that is very obvious in Donald Trump's race to the White House is all the opposition he had and many thought every time that he was down for the count, but he got up every time and now he is in the Oval office. The true measure of a leader is what it takes to stop him. Time to keep President Trump always in our prayers. Many want to depose him but only God can do that because He put him there. Daniel 2:21 "He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning."

At the early morning prayer service on inauguration day, Pastor Jeffress gave Donald Trump a sermon using the example of Nehemiah of the Bible as why he was so successful in building the wall and rebuilding the nation. Nehemiah refused to allow his critics to distract him. Someone has said there are three guaranteed ways to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing. Any true leader is going to face criticism. President-elect Trump, has had his share of critics from the day he announced he was running for President, but he confounded them at every turn. Was this Donald Trump's doing or is God in this?

Is Trump just another change of administration or does he look promising to be the real thing? These questions will be answered in time. For now let's begin by analyzing the inaugural celebration. Trump set a record for most prayers in the inaugural ceremonies. What does it all mean?

By now you know that Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States, which means there have been 44 prior administrations, and at the very beginning of each one of them people’s expectations of changes for the better have always been high. What does our history from 1789 to January of 2017 tell us? With few exceptions, a simple change of administration doesn’t solve problems; this should be a cause for serious thought.

"The Battle Hymn of the Republic" was written 155 years and two months ago to date. In 1861, America went to war splitting the nation in two.  Since then, we have continued to be a divided nation, with a competing opposite vision for the country and the world. Today, through the new presidency people are hopeful to unite the country once again under God just like our pledge of allegiance declares. There is hope not because of a man but because of the open acknowledgement of God back in our national affairs.

“We have all been witnesses to a very grueling year and a half for the president-elect,” anticipation, not knowing if God could reverse all the negative lies against Mr. Trump, whose only desire is to make America great again. God answered all our prayers. Because here it is: We will be part of history, all of us.”--Jon Voight

Abortion is a war between worldviews. Acceptance or rejection of the Biblical worldview determines what authority man is in subjection to. The consequences of an evolutionary worldview always devalues human life. Biblical creation upholds the sanctity of human life that begins in the womb. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise, what we believe of how everything originated shapes our thinking, not only about all life issues but about abortion: Who is man? What is the purpose of life? What is the purpose of death? Who determines right from wrong?

January 20th, 2017 is and was the longest anticipated daylight after eight years of terrible national moral and spiritual darkness decline. A ray of hope shines announcing all hands-on-deck to rebuild a promising future under God’s government; the hands, of course, are those of like-minded people. America and the world’s future, in a significant part, falls upon the shoulders of biblical Christians to get it right this time, failure to do so can only hasten a horrible tragedy of epic proportions.

In Matthew 12:22-37, Jesus is revealing the difference between the two ideological systems of government and benefits: His Kingdom in comparison to Satan’s kingdom. Christ manifested the Kingdom of God’s ethics and moral law as the only source of social unification, stability, and progress. God the Father is sovereign over all of creation; it is under His domain and He commissioned His people to carry out the unfolding of His government.

If we are open-minded we will arrive at the conclusion that Jesus' teaching on the subject of national division between evil and good is as relevant in the past as it is in the present and will be in the future: “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. 26 And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?" (Matthew 12:25-26)

America has been in spiritual and moral decline from the very beginning of the formation of the experimental civil government, in 1787. Since then every election has divided the nation with opposing views that are irreconcilable. The further Christian America drifts away from the full counsel of God's word the more evil dominates; this is basic and should not be a point of contention within the Christian camp. From God's perspective, we are either siding with Him or fighting against Him.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
