America You do not Have to Die Part 8

May 22, 2014
What was the purpose for creation and Adam and Eve? God told them to take dominion over the earth, Psalm 8:6 records,"You have given him dominion over the works of your hands;
you have put all things under his feet..." If that is the case, why does everything seem to be getting away from humans and taking a life of its own leading toward destruction? Is this inevitable?

How can America, who has become a decadent nation, restore itself? Is it even possible? Only if America turns back to God and acknowledges Him once again. Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" The highest level of blessedness a person or nation can achieve is to receive the revelation from on high like Peter did when he answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

The concept of the rock throughout the Bible has a very special meaning and it has to do with God's, character, judgment, refuge, strong tower and much more. In Deuteronomy, Moses reminded the generation who was going to cross into the Promised Land about that character and His moral law and actions. America needs to be reminded of God's character that is in her original foundation. If America is going to rise from its downfall, she must acknowledge God and His Law once again.

Ideas turn into philosophy—which is change by means of metamorphosis/transformation over time—giving explanation to the historical, cultural, economic and political context of each movement; always chasing the wind, hoping they have it right...but lo and behold—they collapse. The reason being: effective law and order can never come from the mind of man, only from the mind of God! Is there hope for America?

The real issue is always going to be the same, do we obey or not obey God's Word. Obedience to the Commandment, "You shall have no other gods before me" is the key to everything. No positive benefit comes apart from diligently living by that eternal and unchanged law. God never compromises with His Commands.

"The lesson of history is that nations die from a lethal combination of internal and external pressures. Moral decay, combined with rising violence, lawlessness, and intellectual apathy, leads invariably to the disintegration of the structures that make civilization possible... From ancient times to the present the pathology of decadence is unmistakable." --C. Northcote Parkinson

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus illustrates the only two foundations that humans can build life and culture upon. If we can understand this then it will not be difficult to know where we are and where we are going as a nation and as a world. The ideas that shape society are always put to the test.

Sooner or later we're all going to die, that is the cycle of life for humans, animals and nature. Nations, on the other hand, do not have to die. At present, we are witnessing another death; the death of America and not enough people seem to be aware. The reason being is that the same disease that killed other empires and great nations has infected them. Does America have to die?

To have the mind of Christ says it all, we are responsible to develop it and make meaningful contributions throughout our lifetime here on earth. The mystical experience of wanting to develop the consciousness of God through mere mental methods only leads to greater delusion and disappointment.

Does the Bible support the practice of "Christian mysticism"? Mysticism is not the experience of a Christian. Christian doctrine maintains that God dwells in all Christians and that they can experience God directly through belief in Jesus, Christian mysticism aspires to apprehend spiritual truths inaccessible through intellectual means. The Bible tells us that Christ-likeness is achieved only by dying to self - not by self-effort - and that spiritual truth is discerned as guided by the indwelling Holy Spirit, who lives in all believers and He strictly adheres to Scripture. Do not be deceived! Study to show yourself approved.

Human intellect can never comprehend the meaning of life, the world, and Christ's redemption for humanity which includes all of God's creation. To be Christ-like we must deny ourselves; we trade the old for the new but never to pursue a mystical experience. If we want to experience God we must live out the life. "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Matthew 16:24

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
