People may wonder what God's purpose and plan for this world might be. All anyone would have to do is take a few moments and carefully read this great teaching in God's word called "The Sermon on the Mount" and the mystery would be solved. The windows of heaven will be opened.

Jesus included teaching on divorce and his teaching is very strict. Divorce is not the unforgiveable sin, but we must understand the covenant of marriage to better understand why Jesus would set such a high standard regarding divorce. The current social climate in our nation is becoming less and less marriage-friendly. We not only have to live in this culture, but we also have to live with our fallen nature. All the more reason to listen closely to what Jesus would have to say about the nature of marriage.
