God created all things.  As Creator of all things, this means that God created time.  Therefore, history (time) is within the realm of God’s sovereign power.  It would make perfect sense that a perfect God would make his perfection manifest in time.  “When the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights as sons” (Galatians 4:4-5).

Humanity had no idea what God was up to.  Human arrogance thinks history is all about this natural world.  History is actually HIS-story.  We can read the story of God’s plan of salvation as it wends its way through the historical and prophetic themes throughout the Bible.  Praise God that he had you and me in mind at the center of his plan.  Redemption is God’s plan.
