Wisdom and Insight Part II
Proverbs 4:10-27 Hear, O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding...
What has the father (speaker) taught the son and how will the son benefit (4:11-13)? In your own words, contrast the life of the righteous with the life of the wicked (4:16-19). What are you doing to "keep your heart in vigilance"? To "put away crooked speech"? To "look directly forward"? To "ponder the path"? To "turn you foot away from evil"?
Yesterday, the benefits of having wisdom and insight caught my attention. But today, my thoughts were drawn to using the wisdom we have and then maintaining it through right living.
So how do we maintain wisdom and righteous living according to Proverbs 4? How can we accomplish and put into practice the instructions found in verses 23-27? Tami W.
