Psalm 84:1-12 How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts...
What does the psalmist long for (84:1-4)? Why does he see this as the best place to be? What blessings come with this? What is his value system based on (84:10-12)? How does this reflect your heart or challenge you to change?
Our entire reading today, Psalm 84, talks about that desire to be in the presence, in the dwelling place, of the Lord. "How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the court of the Lord" (vs. 1 & 2).
So what can we learn from this Psalm about being in God's presence? How can we draw on the words of the psalmist to encourage and give us hope today? Tami W.
