Satan challenged God saying that Job was godly and obedient because of God's blessings. But God knew better and He allowed Satan to attack Job. This attack teaches lessons on temptation and Satan's tactics. Dr. Kroll shows us that Satan denies what God affirms; he is the father of lies while God speaks only truth, and he challenges God's authority which is greater than his own. Temptation is something God permits in our lives within the bounds He establishes. He gave Satan permission to test and tempt Job but God also provided the means of escape. He is our best protector.
