Dr. Kroll looks at what it means to be a "new man" in Christ. This is what changes when we hear Jesus through God's Word and respond to Him for salvation and truth. First, we'll see the "old man"--who we are before conversion, lost in sin, hopeless and helpless. Once we come to faith in Jesus, the "old man" is dead and we need to "put him off", like dropping a dead body on a slab in the morgue. Instead we put on the "new man," like dressing in new clothes of righteousness, holiness and more. It also involves a renewal of the mind, an ongoing process the Holy Spirit works in us.
