Hedged in by God

References: Job 1

Job was a privileged man as Dr. Kroll explains in this study. God had placed a hedge around Job, protecting him from the misfortunes of life. But Job didn't fear God because of this hedge; he loved and feared God because he believed God was who He said. When Satan challenges God about Job, he questions Job's motives--that Job only trusts God because God has been so good to Job. Satan couldn't see the truth and his words remind of the trouble we get into when we judge the motives of others. This study also looks at why God places a hedge around His people and other biblical examples of those who experienced this protection.
