What does it take to be a good father? Woodrow Kroll answers that question with Job's example. His family was a blessing from God. Job had a close-knit family who spent time together, regularly sharing feasts or family parties. In Job, we see a father who loved his children, who was concerned about their needs, but most importantly guarded their spiritual welfare, interceding for them before God and sacrificing on their behalf. He took his responsibility seriously, not wanting them to sin against God or be judged by Him.
