Don's wife, Ann, passed away in January, 2002. He has begun a new adventure in his May 14, 2005, marriage to Cheryl Waters who now assists him with the production/distribution of Afterglow and with his Chaplaincy of Kirby Pines Retirement Community in Memphis, TN. Michael Johnson, Don’s son, is the engineer for the Turbo Division of Cummings Diesel Company.
