Speaker Vern Jewett brings our Series to a close today with a vital Biblical truth Jesus Christ teaches about The Kingdom of God. The emphasis of His teaching is about each of us accepting personal responsibility – something which is sorely lacking in our culture. In His parable, the Lord makes it clear that each of us is personally responsible to accept His salvation; to develop our relationship with Him out of a heart that is sincere; and to be prepared for Him to either call us home or for His triumphal return to earth. It is our prayer that this is the day you will make these eternal decisions.
Series: The Kingdom of God
As our Series continues, today’s message is based on a very interesting parable Jesus Christ taught in the 20th chapter of Matthew. Upon the initial reading this story, one might think it seems unfair. However, as our Speaker Vern Jewett will point out, we really have cause for great joy! You see, today’s parable is about God’s grace and His Gift of Salvation to each of us. Something each of us needs everyday! Join us and realize God’s love and grace in your life today!
Series: The Kingdom of God
Today’s message is based on a passage of Scripture in which Jesus Christ gives us some words of wisdom, guidance, and yes, even warning. Becoming a Christian and a Child of the King must be based on a sincere and personal relationship with Him. Just doing works alone or paying Him “lip service” will not gain us entrance into The Kingdom of God. Without our heartfelt commitment to the Lord we cannot become part of His Family. Join us now and make sure your heart is in the right place.
Series: The Kingdom of God
It’s interesting to note that today’s parable taught by Jesus Christ about The Kingdom of God is found only in The Gospel of Mark. Here, in His parable about the wheat, the Lord tells us that spiritual growth requires patience and it takes a lifetime – a concept that’s largely foreign in today’s culture of fast food and microprocessors. Listen now and see how the Christian life on this earth is not a destination but instead, it’s a journey. However, those who follow the Lord in faith and trust will someday meet Him face to face as He receives them with open arms.
Series: The Kingdom of God
Our Series continues today with one parable Jesus Christ teaches about The Kingdom of God that contains some great news! Like the king in this parable who invited everyone to the wedding feast, all who accept Jesus’ invitation to salvation may enter into The Kingdom of God as His children. There is plenty of room for everyone. So join us and accept the Lord’s invitation to become His child and then enter the feast He is planning for you!
Series: The Kingdom of God
Probably most of us have dreamed of finding something of great value. Oh, what we could do with such a treasure! Well, in today’s Scripture passage, Jesus tells us that The Kingdom of God is like finding a pearl of great value. No price would be too high in order to possess such a precious gem! Of course, the Good News today is that Jesus Christ has provided this for us. While The Kingdom of God costs us everything we have, the reward is even greater and it lasts for eternity! Listen now and become part of God’s family and His kingdom.

As Speaker Very Jewett continues our Series today, the emphasis changes from harvesting to cooking. Through His parable about the yeast, Jesus Christ teaches another Spiritual truth about The Kingdom of God. Just as yeast when worked into dough produces bread, The Kingdom of God worked into the heart of a believer eventually transforms that person into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Join us now and let this Spiritual process begin in your life.
Series: The Kingdom of God
As one of the many parables Jesus Christ taught in describing The Kingdom of God, today’s message entitled, “The Mustard Seed” is one of those often called “The Laws of the Harvest.” In making an analogy that refers to the common practice of growing crops, Jesus Christ is teaching us that God’s Kingdom may start from humble beginnings but as it grows, it becomes very large and very enduring! Listen now and let your faith and trust in the Lord grow strong in The Kingdom of God.
Series: The Kingdom of God
In continuing with the parables known as “The Laws of the Harvest” Speaker Vern Jewett has us consider one today that Jesus Christ told about the weeds and the wheat. Here, the weeds are allowed to grow in the field along with the wheat. Because they are difficult to distinguish at first, both plants are allowed to grow together. That is, until the harvest, where the weeds are then separated and burned. Join us and be sure you’re among the wheat in The Kingdom of God.
Series: The Kingdom of God
Because it was so common in that day, Jesus Christ would often teach important Spiritual truths about The Kingdom of God through parables based on the growing of crops. In today’s message, through one of what are often called “The Laws of The Harvest,” Jesus’ parable about seeds falling on different soils describes the Word of God being heard by different people. Listen now let God’s Word cause spiritual growth to come into your life.

In his message for Easter Sunday, Speaker Vern Jewett has us envision various doors or gates as depicted in the Bible. First, we stand before the guarded gateways of the walls of Jerusalem. From there, we go to the Temple to see that the veil to the dwelling place of God torn has been into two pieces. Then we travel to the tomb where Jesus was buried. The stone has been rolled away. He is not here! He is risen! Jesus Himself said that He is the Door to everlasting life. On this Holy day, we invite you to join Vern in our prayer of invitation following the message and, through faith in Jesus Christ, enter into The Kingdom of God.
