On this week's edition of Washington Watch Radio: we'll touch on the neck-wrenching attempts by Congress to address the financial crisis. Plus Tony will assess the Vice Presidential Debate. Then he will highlight a new FRC study on the reductions in teen abortion resulting from state parental involvement laws. Dr. Michael New conducted this study as a fellow at FRC this summer and he'll join Tony to discuss its common sense results. Finally, with the movie Fireproof, hitting number 4 at the box office last weekend, Tony and director Alex Kendrick, will celebrate the message of this movie and encourage listeners to keep supporting it.
On this week's edition of Washington Watch Radio: To delve into the crisis facing the financial markets, Tony interviews FRC's Ken Blackwell and Club for Growth President Pat Toomey. They discuss the question: Is the "mother of all interventions" necessary, or should the system sort itself out. Then, Financial Advisor Ron Blue joins Tony to discuss financial biblical principles and how families can prepare for some tough times.
On this week's edition of Washington Watch Radio: Tony Perkins explains Oprah's latest ...misguided...foray into politics and highlights FRC's new study of state abortion laws that concludes the obvious: more parental involvement translates to fewer abortions. He recaps some big moments from the "event of the season" for pro-family Americans, the Values Voter Summit. And he explains to listeners how doctors and health care professionals are facing pressure to violate their strongly held beliefs about abortion and what you can do about it. Our guest will be Admiral Joxel Garcia, Assistant Secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services.
On this week's edition of Washington Watch Radio: Tony Perkins updates on the progress following Hurricane Gustav, a first hand report on Baton Rouge, La. Then, why is the Alliance Defense Fund purposefully telling pastors to violate IRS tax law between now and the election? PLUS what happenes when elected officials who make declarative statements about theology and it violates the teachings of the faith they claim, Bishop James Conley of Denver joins Tony in the "C" block. And LIVE from the Values Voter Summit - FRC News takes a look at the turnout, enthusiasm, and YOUTH of the Values Voter movement, along with a very big announcement being made by FRCAction. JP Duffy and David Nammo check in with Kevin McCullough on-site at the Hilton Washington.
