How is it that a shoe salesman with a grade-school education could eventually preach to enormous crowds on two continents? The only explanation: God chose to use a simple man to reach vast multitudes with the gospel. One day, D. L. Moody heard these words: "The world has yet to see what God can do with a man wholly consecrated to Him." He then vowed to be that man. Today: how God honored that vow.
