LISTEN TO THIS WEEK'S BROADCAST
News Release
Friday, October 03, 2008
There's an old saying, "No news is good news" implying that bad news spreads a lot quicker than good news. But, in God's Town, good news spreads quickly, even when some try to suppress it or distort it. In the message, "News Release", we'll get a first-hand look at the power of God's irrepressible truth

Chamber of Commerce
9/26/2008 - Friday
There are some tremendous qualities about God's Town. It's a great place to live and work. Its inhabitants seem to know what really matters and what doesn't. And, it's all for a purpose. In the message "God's Town: The Plot" we'll see what that purpose is.

Small Town Atmosphere
9/19/2008 - Friday
God's Town is a great place to live. It's inhabitants actually like each other and support one another and their leaders. In the message "God's Town: The Setting", we will see what a community looks like when grace and peace are in place.

Townspeople
9/12/2008 - Friday
In the message "God's Town: The Main Cast", we're going to look at the inhabitants of God's Town. Some are leaders and some are followers, but all are recipients of two very special qualities that affect the way they live and the way they relate to one another.

The Bottom Line
9/5/2008 - Friday
Everywhere we turn, someone is giving us advice on how to live our lives. Buy this product and your life will change forever. Send your tax free donation, get this sermon series, and you will never be the same. Purchase my CD's and your teenager will straighten up in 30 seconds (no kidding). There are unlimited advisors just waiting to sell us their brand of life investment advice. Who can we believe? Will what they promise really make my life better? Do I have to try every product before I know? Coming from the perspective of someone who tried every product of his day, the writer of Ecclesiastes offers us timeless wisdom on what really matters. In the message, "The Bottom Line", we'll look at some great advice on the subject of life investment.

Youth and Aging
8/29/2008 - Friday
Legend has it that Ponce De Leon searched for the fountain of youth. Historians disagree as to the facts of the matter but no one can disagree that, in one way or another, we all eventually join in the search. Anti-aging products are big business now. Plastic surgeons have a waiting list of affluent clients. Health clubs are filled with retirees seeking to stay active and those in the middle years seeking to retain any youthfulness they can. In the message, "Youth and Aging", we will take a look at both and see some good advice from the book of Ecclesiastes on how to deal with our own aging process.

Time and Money
8/22/2008 - Friday
Life is an opportunity to make investments. Time and money are two of the most valuable assets that we have to invest. Almost everything in life requires one or the other or both. And, the way we spend our time and our money will have serious implications in this life and the next. In the message "Time and Money" we will look at some sound advice about investments from the book of Ecclesiastes.

Follow the Leader
8/15/2008 - Friday
History is filled with the stories of great and responsible leaders, as well as self-serving, irresponsible ones. God works best through leaders that work with God. Both leaders and their followers have a responsibility to foster the workings of God in leadership. In the message, "Follow the Leader", we'll cover some of the roles that both followers and leaders can play in the process.

Misdirected
8/8/2008 - Friday
There are two types of people in the world. The wise concerning God and the foolish who are without God. Even those who are considered wise in this world, but who are without God, will one day be exposed as foolish. For this reason, it is extremely important that we be people of wisdom - guarding the words we speak and receive. We must carefully weigh, in light of God's Word, the conclusions that we come to about life and its issues. Otherwise, as we will see in this message, we might find ourselves "Misdirected".

Character Crunch
8/1/2008 - Friday
All of those who call themselves believers are on a journey toward spiritual maturity. We haven’t arrived yet, but we are a work in process. Sometimes the training is challenging and difficult. Sometimes we find ourselves in places for which we are unprepared. And sometimes, we are simply overwhelmed by the process. In the message "Character Crunch", we will see that God is still at work in us and how to best posture ourselves for His work to continue.

Dead Flies
7/25/2008 - Friday
If you have chosen to be a follower of Jesus, you are called to be light and salt in the world. Everywhere you go, you leave footprints. Everywhere you go, chances are - someone is watching you. You have the potential to do much good in the world. You also have the potential to do much harm quickly. In fact one decision you make or one step you take can undo a lot of good that you've done. In the message, "Dead Flies", we'll look at this issue and prescribe some ways to avoid harmful living.

Be An Unsung Hero
7/11/2008 - Friday
What matters most to us…the purposes of God or the applause of others? How much does it matter to us that we get the credit? How many times would we have to hear the words "thank you" before we would do the right thing? In the message "Be An Unsung Hero", we will see that true heroes don't always get the credit that they deserve and consider the possibility of being one anyway.
