Are you headed for a jam-up? Lucy likens our busy lives like a log jam on a river. Work, errands, and commitments can seem overwhelming. Today's program is from Matthew 8:21-22 where Jesus offers to be a diffuser of the log jam in the life of a young man.

When was the last time you visited a desert? Today's program is about "desert" times in our lives and how they can produce a refinement of purpose.
Lucy urges you to be still and listen daily to that "still small Voice" of our Lord and spend time in His Word.
Today Lucy reflects on Matthew 28:20 "Lo, I am with you always", along with marches and drawing in the dirt.
As Christians, there is no building -- no window shade -- no experience -- that can block us from the "Light" -- from His view.
A poem written from a special piece of linen's perspective to start off this new year.
Lucy talks about celebrating her mama's birthday and how many of the verses in Proverbs 31 seem to be speaking of her specifically. May we all celebrate those traits in women of virtue that we know today.
Don't wait until you get sick to spend some quality time alone with God. Allow your world to slow down and remember his command to "Be still, and know that I am God." Relish His presence!
Some days are better than others -- one day in this letter leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling -- the other is a gentle reminder to all of us to remember who's birthday we're celebrating!
Stringless presents are unexpected "wow!" gifts. You'll probably realize you did after hearing today's letter.
The intermingling of life and death at Christmas -- it's always been there -- and it's ok to have some "myrrhy" moments.
There's light at the end of the tunnel, as long as our Lord is Lord and He leads the way. Our Lord does reign, even on "burned-out" days!
Pilgrim, put some sandals on. We're going to take a journey back into the deep piney woods where a psalm of love of the Lord is being sung.
We are living -- our whole lives -- in an Advent season. The King is coming! Get ready with the same anticipation as a child on Christmas Eve.
Let's go on an imaginary visit to the Bethany Sisters, who are getting ready for the season too.
Whether we're coming to Jesus as little children climbing into His lap, or sitting at His feet as Mary did, we all come as sinners and His arms are open wide as we accept His forgiveness.
John 3:30 says, "He must increase, but I must decrease." How does that look in our everyday life? Are we becoming "grown-ups" -- letting go -- letting God?
The title speaks of a car that she does not own, but Lucy compares it to our new life in Christ and how we are to care for our bodies that are no longer ours, but His.
"Come unto me and I will give you rest", and "take up your cross and follow Me". What do these two commands of Jesus have in common? Lucy tells of two meetings and two crosses.
We can be walking in fog or we can feel like our souls are fogged in. Lucy shares how fog narrows our world down and refocuses us, but how the fog lifts in Jesus' light.
