First Baptist Church of Raytown is a New Testament church that desires to reach the Kansas City area and impact the world for Christ. First Baptist has ministries for adults, students, singles, children, women and even a ministry for the deaf. FBC has also developed music and drama programs for their youth.

First Baptist Church of Raytown is pastored by Paul Brooks. He pastored two churches in Louisiana, two in Mississippi, and one in Florida, before coming to First Baptist Church of Raytown in 1985. The church has grown to 7,500 members and it has led the state of Missouri in Cooperative Program giving and baptisms many times in the years he has served as pastor.

At First Baptist Church of Raytown, we believe that all mankind is fallen, and that all people have sinned and lost their ability to live for the glory of God. But through Christ's atoning death, mankind can receive salvation by faith.
