VCR Faith
6/21/2009 - Sunday
Reviewing faith
A bout with doubt often requires a Very Critical Response (VCR). Like the controls on a VCR, this response will require some rewinding, some fast-forwarding and the avoidance of the pause and eject buttons. In this creative message, Ed will help you push the right buttons to get your faith back on track.

Faith Lift
6/14/2009 - Sunday
Understanding faith
The essence of faith is often hard to define. Many search for all the answers before they will take that important step of faith in Christ; but, if they had all the answers, they wouldn't need faith. Ed Young exposes some of the most common misunderstandings about faith and talks about the faith that pleases God.

Dealing with doubt
What do you do when your faith is down for the count? Depending on how you deal with it, doubt can either choke out your faith or feed it. Ed Young shows us that it’s okay to doubt, as long as we deal openly and honestly with God about our questions. He also defines the kinds of punches that can knock out our faith and identifies their probable sources.

Faithfulness
5/31/2009 - Sunday
Galatians 5:22-23 says "The fruit of the spirit...", in other words, the real juicy fruit, "...is faithfulness."

Kindness and Goodness
5/24/2009 - Sunday
The good news today is that we have not been left to ourselves. God is committed. He is totally committed to taking people like you and me, who have hard hearts, and changing those hearts to produce goodness and kindness.

Self-Control
5/17/2009 - Sunday
I define self-control or self discipline as climbing before cruising, fighting the uphill battle so you can enjoy the downhill breeze of success. I believe all of us would say, if asked, that we want to become a person who has more discipline, who has more self-control.

Patience
5/10/2009 - Sunday
I want to ask you a question. What is it that makes you loose your patience the fastest? Let's face it. Impatience permeates our entire persona. Proverbs 14:29 says "A patient man has great understanding but a quick tempered man displays folly."

Peace
5/3/2009 - Sunday
Jesus said these words about peace in John 14:27. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives..." In other words, Jesus is saying that His peace is different than the world's peace. He is giving us a profound peace.

Joy
4/26/2009 - Sunday
Every person would rather be joyful than sorrowful. We have this joy seeking, joy hunting nature in all of our lives, don’t we? I believe we choose friends, spouses, careers, even churches on the basis of the joy factor. And that leads us to this question. What is it that can make me a consistently joyful person? What is it?

Love
4/19/2009 - Sunday
Philippians 2:3 - "Regard one another as more important than yourself." You wouldn't think those eight little words would start a battle in my life, but in reality they do. The problem with this verse is a little phrase, one another.

God Meant It For Good
4/12/2009 - Sunday
God uses can use the pit of betrayal for good.
We're all familiar with the pit of betrayal. We know what it feels like to be tossed to the bottom; we may know what it's like to push someone else in. But there's one aspect of betrayal that transcends even our deepest emotions and gives us the hope of moving up and out of the pit. In this message, Ed Young looks at the backside of betrayal. And as he parallels the experiences of Joseph and Jesus and shares a story that was pivotal in the life of Fellowship Church, we see that though betrayal hurts, God can use those times for good…and even for the best.
