Luke 12:49-57. In this passage from Luke, Jesus is describing a natural phenomenon in the Kingdom of God when, and he doesn’t want his followers to be deceived into thinking that there is never a cost. When you take a stand on the Gospel, there will be division. When you do not go along with the crowd, there will be division.
