Life’s twists and turns can be unexpected and unimaginable. Brenda Solomon knows. In 1992 she gave birth to a daughter, Jill, who had a severe seizure disorder, which would eventually leave the child with intellectual disabilities. Brenda explains how the 24-hour care her daughter required sapped the life out of her family and lead them to nearly total exhaustion. But as she prayed for help, God stepped in with respite, and the idea of Jill’s House, a full-service, overnight respite center, was born.
