The idea of formalizing a philosophy of life apart from God's idea began during the time of the Grecian Empire, always with the idea to think of life away from "tradition" and become a "free-thinker". The result has been many failed and harebrained ideas that have lied to the human race. If Hegel, Marx and Engel had only dug deep into God's Word to find what they were looking for instead of only focusing on the faults in Christianity of their time, they would have found more common ground with Jesus. What a powerhouse that would have been for the human race.
