1 Samuel 30:8

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”

 

What has been taken by force out of your life? What has the enemy willfully come into your house or domain and fractured the faith you stand in?

 

David and his army had just got back from battle and found that their family had been taken as slaves. Their homes were burned to the ground, and they are very distressed and wanted to stone David their king.

 

He too was  a broken man, because his family were among those that were taken captives. 

How do you pick yourself up after that devastating blow that is so public?

 

You seek God by yourself for strength for you and then how to build your people's ability to overcome this. You need to know that God can hear you and answer in the most broken state of your life. You need to know that one word from God can lift you and all the people that depend on you. As you heal, others are healed by the evidence on your life.

 

The answer God gave David united the men to purse and recover all. My friend keep people around you that will feed off the word of the Lord to pursue after you have been broken and humiliated.
