Authority in Your Word,
Matthew 8: 8 “The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” NIV
As a believer and a follower of Christ, do you know the authority that is in your voice?
I love this story of the centurion, because he was man of authority, who stood in the presence of a man with a higher authority and he recognized it. He knew the law of the land, and he didn't want to insult Jesus by inviting him into his home; so he asked Jesus to use His governing authority and ‘speak the word only’.
We don't know the distance of where the servant was, but the centurion believed that a word from Jesus could travel the distance of time and space and bring about the result, a miracle for his servant. Can you believe in your voiceprint? You carry the same authority to speak God’s word and your recipient will receive their miracle and give God the glory.
