A Clear Vision
By Rick Boxx
May 30, 2011

Steve, a friend of mine, was asked, “If you started your business over again, what would you do differently?” Steve answered, “I would immediately clarify the vision, mission, and values of the business and constantly communicate it to staff.”

Steve discovered that once his team was clear and aligned with who they were, and where they were headed, the business became more efficient and effective.

The Lord told Habakkuk in Habakkuk 2, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.”

It’s hard for staff to be productive if they don’t know where they’re headed. Cast vision regularly and consistently.
