The Great Challenge

Stanley Tam, founder of U.S. Plastics, had already given 50% of his business to fund God's work, and was active in evangelism. Then in 1955, God asked Stanley to give 100% of his business to fund evangelism.

Mr. Tam obeyed. God provided for him, and over $100 million has since gone to fund evangelistic efforts.

In Matthew 19:21-22 Jesus also challenged a rich young ruler. When this young man asked Jesus what he lacked spiritually Jesus said, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven and come follow Me." Unfortunately, this young man refused.

God doesn't call all of us to give up all our wealth, but he does call us to be willing. How would you have responded?
