A Spouse’s Insight
By: Rick Boxx
February 9, 2012

In Dave Ramsey’s book, “EntreLeadership” he illustrates the importance of seeking our spouse’s counsel. He was considering three different buildings to lease, but was leaning towards the cheapest alternative.

Dave sought his wife’s counsel. She steered him towards an expensive option, because of possibilities Dave hadn’t considered. She also encouraged him to get an option to buy the building. Her advice saved Dave $6 million when they later purchased the building far below market value.

Proverbs 31 teaches, “A wife of noble character who can find? … Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.”

Your spouse may not understand your business, but God often gives them insight you may not have. Don’t waste it.

This book details how to begin the process of being accountable to one another. It’s a practical tool for helping people who desire to have character and integrity. Purchase Character That Counts here.
