Rewarding the Talented

On an episode of "Undercover Boss," Joel Manby, the CEO of Silver Dollar City, has a humorous exchange with a young employee who dreams of someday taking Manby's job. This ambitious young man reveals his God given talent and creativity when he pulls out a detailed rendering of a roller coaster ride he had designed.

At the end of the show Mr. Manby rewards and recognizes this young man's gift and creativity. This young associate now attends college full time to develop his talent and gets paid full time at the company's expense.

The Apostle Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 7:7, "Each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that."

A wise leader identifies the gifts of others and rewards them accordingly.
