Finding comfort in God’s perfect timing

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  - Galatians 6:9

The famous evangelist, George Muller, one day decided he would pray diligently for five of his friends to receive the Lord. So he began. Day after day, he would pray for these five men by name. And after many months, one of them trusted Jesus. Ten years later, two others came to faith.

It took 25 years before the fourth man was saved. And on the issue of his fifth friend, Muller prayed diligently for 52 years for him to receive Christ. After Muller’s death, his faith was rewarded when his friend was saved soon after his funeral!

Oftentimes, the answers to our prayers come not on our timetable, but on God’s. However, God is the all-knowing and all-powerful Creator of the universe. That means there’s nothing more perfect than His timing!

Maybe you’ve been praying and praying, waiting for a breakthrough to come. If so, just remember God’s timing is perfect. He’s never late and never early. Trust in God’s perfect timing for every single blessing and find contentment in His plan for you and those you love!
