Why is it that the best commercials on TV are the beer commercials? Have you noticed that?

Why is it that they seem to have younger and younger people in those commercials?

If there is one unifying theme in beer commercials, its this: Everybody is doing it. It's a lot of fun. This is real life. Why not join in?

It's the same subtle message broadcast on teen dramas, such as the fare offered on The WB. Programs such as One Tree Hill, Sorority Forever, The OC tell young people that life, the only life worth living, is all about doing drugs, having sex, and rebelling against your parents and authority.

But is this really life or is it all a big fat lie?

What if you could ask the Creator of life? What if you could  pop that question to God? What do you think he would say?

Actually, He has already spoken. Listen to this from the Gospel of John. John 3:36 says that if you "have the Son" (Jesus Christ) then you have life. It also says that if you don't have the Son, you don't have life. Some translations read it like this: "If you believe in the Son, you have life, if you don't believe the Son, you don't have life."

Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

In other words, all of that stuff out there—the stuff that the world says is real life—is really not life at all. In fact, it represents death. Sin always leads to death and destruction. It destroys relationships. It destroys bodies. It destroys our peace.

On the flipside, Jesus offers life. Real life. Satisfying life. Life Eternal in Him.

As a young person, you are making a lot of choices. No choice is greater than the choice between Jesus and the world. It is literally a life and death decision.

Right now, you're the target of a million false messages. The enemy, Satan, is cleverly trying to manipulate you into choosing death.

I bet you. Choose Jesus Christ and choose life.
