God's Money

The bank I'd been part of was sold, and I was being called to start a consulting practice with my friend, Gregg. As 50/50 partners, I assumed Gregg would provide half of the start up capital. That wasn't God's plan.

From the sale of the bank, I received enough money to fund the start up, but didn't want to let go of it. God began working on me. He made clear to me reasons why I needed to fund it, not Gregg.

It was a struggle getting the concept of God's ownership from my head to my heart, but eventually I submitted.

Psalm 24:1 says, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."

God owns everything! Are you hanging on to anything that belongs to God?
