Calvary Christian Church is an evangelical, full gospel, non-denominational church serving God’s kingdom in Royal Oak, Michigan and the greater Detroit area. Founded in 1934, Calvary’s vision is two fold: to serve God in holy conduct and lifestyle, and to edify and build up believers to go forth in God’s power, affecting their communities and world. Out of this vision, the Church's daily radio program Kingdom Living was born. Using sound scriptural teaching, Pastor Mark Byers’ radio ministry has now expanded to three broadcasts daily, reaching most of Southeast Michigan.

Calvary’s ministries include a Christian school, community Daycare, and missions outreaches. Having supported Bible schools throughout Central America, and works in Canada and the Artic Circle, they presently support mission endeavors in the Philippine islands, including a sister church in Manila, a Bible school, orphanage, and a fellowship of 80 churches on Palawan, as well as missions in South Africa and Okinawa, Japan.
