2 Cor. 5:17 So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

The other day, my wife's mobile phone died.  So I plugged it into her PC like it told me to - and you'll never guess what happened.  The PC reinstalled the phone's firmware, the application software, all her data, phone numbers, and music photos.

When I turned it on, everything was there.  Now as someone who spent almost 20 years in the IT industry - got to tell you, I was shocked.  The backup and recovery actually worked. Just like it was supposed to.

I remember some joker years ago telling me that we're made in the image of God.  And that when we put our faith in Jesus - when we kind of plug our lives into His life - He restores us back into that image.  Just like we were supposed to be.

"What a load of rubbish".  Nothing wrong with my life - until it blew up in my face.  That's when I believed.  That's when I plugged my life into Jesus.

And I'm shocked to tell you - it's working.  Just like it's supposed to.
