Equipped for Life with Pastor Christopher Brooks

Christopher Brooks is the Senior Pastor of Evangel Ministries, a 1500 member church in Detroit, Michigan. He is host of the Equipped for Life radio broadcast which airs daily on Salem Communications-Detroit Affiliate. After graduating from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Finance, Christopher completed his theological training at Michigan Theological Seminary. He received his M.A. in Christian Apologetics at Biola University and is also a graduate of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics at Oxford University. Presently he is pursuing a doctoral degree at Oxford Graduate School. Christopher is the founder of the Detroit Bible Institute, a seminary preparatory institution targeting inner city Christians. In 2009, Christopher published his first book, Kingdom Dreaming.

Currently Pastor Brooks is part of the executive team of E.A.C.H. (every one a chance to hear.)This is an attempt to give everyone in our region (over 3.5 million people) a chance to hear the message of Christ and to take the ‘next step’ in their spiritual journey. This evangelism tool is being used in the hands of Christians with many types of awesome results, such as, Two Word Story, Prayer Walks, Resource Fairs and 100,000 hours of Good Deeds &100,000 Good News deliveries, Pastor Brooks is humbled as he watches the good deeds of the people of God producing good will which has been opening up doors for the good news.
