Thirst for Righteousness
Martyn Lloyd-Jones wrote, "One of the greatest tragedies n the life of the Church today is the way in which so many are content with these vague, general, useless statements about war and peace instead of preaching the gospel in all its simplicity and purity. It is righteousness that exalts a nation, and the most important thing for all of us is to discover what righteousness means." A nation becomes righteous when its people discover what true righteousness is. That can only come about when the gospel is preached with great power throughout the land.
