Under the pernicious reign of Diocletian, many Christians were brutally murdered and imprisoned for their faith. But some cowered in fear, escaping death and persecution for a time. Later, however, they repented of their error and were brought back into the Church - receiving the grace of God. But in the last days of world history when the last Caesar demands that everyone worship him by receiving his mark, grace will not be poured out on those who cower and run away. To receive the mark of the Beast is to book a one-way ticket to hell.
