Ron Jones is a pastor, church planter and radio Bible teacher. He is the founder and Lead Pastor of Capital City Fellowship in the Washington D.C. area. He has served churches as Senior Pastor in Texas, Oklahoma and Virginia, ranging in size from 300 to over 3,000 in weekly attendance.
In 2011, Ron founded Something Good Radio, a new and creative broadcast that features his trusted Bible-teaching ministry. Currently, Something Good with Dr. Ron Jones and Something Good Minute can be heard daily in five states (VA, WVA MD, PA and DE) and by an audience of more than 8 million people in the Washington DC, Baltimore and Northern Virginia areas. The program is also heard worldwide at OnePlace.com.
Dr. Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Financial Planning from Purdue University, a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ron is passionate about introducing people to Jesus Christ through anointed biblical teaching that transforms lives. Ron lives in Fairfax Station, VA with his wife Cathryn, their two children, and a golden retriever.
